Invoicing Officer

Job Description
Generate and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Verify sales data to ensure completeness and correctness before invoicing.
Respond promptly to inquiries from customers and other internal departments regarding invoices.
Monitor and follow-up on outstanding invoices to facilitate timely payments.
Assist in resolving discrepancies or issues related to invoicing.
Reconcile invoices with accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications & Required Skills
A relevant First Degree (B.Sc / HND) in Computer Science, Statistics or any related discipline with a minimum of second-class lower division/lower credit.
Minimum of at least three (3) years post qualification experience in a similar position.
Not more than 35 years of age.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Must be detail-oriented, organized and adept at handling financial transactions.
Effective communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team also within a team. Applicant must be resident in Benin City.
Strong understanding of invoicing principles and practices.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of billing procedures and relevant regulations.
