Husband Identifies Wife’s Beheaded Body In Yola Hotel
woman who was beheaded in a hotel in Yola, Adamawa State by a suspected ritualist has been identified by a man who claimed to be her former husband.
The man who identified himself as Auwal Garba, confirmed to the Police Command on Friday, that the deceased known as Bilkisu Alhaji Idi, murdered at Happy Day Guest Inn on the 18th of January 2024, was his wife.
Auwal informed the Spokesman of the Police Command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, that the late Bilkisu was his wife whom he had married about 6 years ago.
He explained that they got married about 6 years ago and divorced her between November and December 2023, saying that the marriage was blessed with a child.
He said that the deceased even called him on the day she was killed and that she wanted to talk to her child, that the child was with his grandmother.
