Job Description
The Materials Management Specialist plays a pivotal role in developing, coordinating, planning, and inventory structure to develop and maintain integrated plans for all activities and projects within the Services Operations, Inventory, and Warehouse Management.
As a Materials Management Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Planning material and inventory metrics across a service segment. Monitor the results of changes to the inventory plan/forecast and recommend modifications
Planning for prevention of excess inventory and “stock outs”
Working with all levels of personnel in resolving issues, tracking material availability, and advising on material usage
Working with customers externally and internally to identify new opportunities to improve our current processes
Leading Inquiry to Order (ITO) processes through Order to Remittance (OTR). Deliver business sales, and contribution margin, develop proposals; negotiate with customers; and and drive competitive pricing.
Handling simple project processes. There are detailed guidelines for production and/or simple human interfaces requiring little technical knowledge. A framework of conditions is set.
Handling targeted clients. Contracts are predefined and a framework of conditions is set and followed.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or College
Have at least 4 years of experience in Services
Have at least 2 years of experience in Logistics or Materials Management
Have Knowledge of key order-to-remittance (OTR) processes
Be able to demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.

Reporting any faults in machinery such as Cranes or pumps, tooling, and assigned area of responsibility immediately to supervisor or store man.
Be proactive in identifying potential issues with tasks and communicating the same in compliance with the Company’s Regulatory HSE, Quality, and Compliance standards.
Contributing to flawless execution in carrying out demobilization, repairs, refurbishment mobilization and pre-load out checks on customer Subsea equipment.
