We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a proven track record in financial management and leadership.
The ideal candidate should possess 15-20 years of relevant experience and a deep understanding of financial strategies and practices.
As a CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of the organization, ensuring sound financial management, compliance, and strategic financial planning.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Planning and Strategy
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization’s goals and objectives.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team for decision-making.
Financial Reporting and Analysis
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct regular financial reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
Budgeting and Cost Control
Lead the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Implement cost control measures and monitor expenses to optimize resource utilization.
Risk Management
Identify financial risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
Implement risk management practices to safeguard the organization’s financial health.
Compliance and Governance
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Establish and maintain effective internal controls and governance structures.
Stakeholder Communication
Communicate financial performance and forecasts to stakeholders, addressing inquiries and concerns.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with organizational objectives.
Treasury and Cash Management
Manage cash flow and liquidity, making informed decisions to support operational needs.
Oversee treasury functions, including banking relationships and financial investments.
Strategic Financial Planning
Work closely with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Guide investment opportunities and financial decision-making.
Team Leadership
Lead the finance team, providing mentorship, and direction, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Ensure the development and retention of a high-performing finance team.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CFA are highly desirable.
15-20 years of progressive financial management experience.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies.
Experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial management software tools.
