Job Summary

A spa receptionist is responsible for welcoming and assisting clients, managing appointments, handling phone calls, and ensuring the overall efficiency of the spa’s front desk operations.

A spa receptionist plays a vital role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for spa clients.

They contribute to the overall success of the spa by ensuring efficient operations and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet clients in a friendly and professional manner.

Provide information about spa services, packages, and pricing.

Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously.

Appointment Scheduling:

Manage spa appointment book and scheduling system.

Coordinate and confirm client appointments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Handle changes or cancellations in the appointment schedule.

Check-In and Check-Out:

Efficiently check clients in and out for their appointments.

Collect payment for services rendered and process transactions accurately.

Provide receipts and information about additional services or products.

Phone and Email Communication:

Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner.

Provide information, address inquiries, and assist with appointment scheduling via phone or email.

Client Relations:

Build positive relationships with clients to enhance their spa experience.

Obtain and update client information to maintain accurate records.

Retail Sales:

Promote and sell spa products and retail items.

Provide information about product benefits and usage.

Administrative Tasks:

Perform general administrative duties, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.

Assist with maintaining a clean and organized reception area.

Collaboration with Spa Staff:

Coordinate with massage therapists, estheticians, and other spa staff to ensure smooth client flow.

Communicate relevant information about client preferences or special requests.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in using spa management software and basic computer skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Working Conditions:

Typically work in a spa or wellness center environment.

May require standing or sitting for extended periods.

Evening and weekend availability may be required.

Remuneration
N25,000 – N40,000 Monthly
