Key Roles and Responsibilities

Interpret process description specifications and conduct modifications /optimizations of process control software as per specifications and software standards.

Identify process control software deviations and resolve or recommend solutions.

Support the process control software change management process.

Maintain process control software integrity and security.

Support the development of and upgrade preventative maintenance procedures for process control systems.

Maintain a Safe and Healthy Working Environment:

Comply with safety, health, and environmental procedures and legislation

Maintain safety and housekeeping standards

Maintain, Calibrate, Repair Equipment, and Optimize Plant and Associated Devices:

Locate plant, equipment, spares, and relevant documentation/systems

Plan and prepare the job

Carry out repairs/maintenance

Continuously improve (optimize) plant, process equipment, and systems

Operate plant and process equipment

Calibrate instruments

Work in Teams:

Communicate effectively in teams

Contribute to self and team development

Apply the VPO Principles And Practices

Utilize short interval control to identify problems

Apply problem-solving techniques to resolve situational problems

Perform Administration:

Complete associated tracking and monitoring: Complete ATO administration and take action as required.

Complete Team room administration as required

Use QFRs (As per triggers)•Complete 5 WHYs (As per triggers) with relevant team members

Contribute towards AB reports as required

The report, execute 5-whys together with Support Technicians, collaborate to deploy corrective efforts
