Final Match Of The Maiden Pitapwa Unity Football Cup Competition
The final round matches of the Maiden Pitapuwa Unity Football Cup (PUFC) Competition are scheduled to commence on Sunday, 19th February 2023 at the Jimeta Temporary Stadium.
The first knockout stage took place from February 4 to February 9, 2023. Winners moved to the second knockout stage which took place from February 12 to 16, 2023, where 10 teams competed for placement in the third and final stages.
The second knockout stage ended with Girei, Mubi-North, Mayo-Belwa, Numan, and Madagali emerging as winners in their various matches.
The match between Lamurde and Girei ended with a 1 – 1 draw but Girei won by 4 -5 through penalty shots. Yola-South and Mubi-North also had a 1 – 1 draw, before Mubi-North emerged as winners with 1 – 2 penalty scores.
Mayo-Belwa won by 1 – 0 against Jada, Numan 2 – 1 against Michika, and Madagali lost to Fufore by 0 – 1 score.
